The inspiration for Pintail Paddle Company's logo and branding came from the rubber duck that I grew up seeing on the front of my grandpa’s yellow kayak. When he passed away in 2019 the only two things I asked to inherit were the duck and a “Winter Sucks” mug that reminded me of him. Even though I never got to paddle alongside him, I wanted to honor him through this creative endeavor.

Pintail Paddle Company is a graphic apparel brand that centers around the stand up paddle boarding and kayaking community. Pintail Paddle Company was founded by Rylee Skidmore as a passion project that represented the paddle boarding community that she loved, and as an homage to her late grandpa who was an avid kayaker.
