It's been over a month since I published my website and sold shirts at my first pop-up shop. The purpose of Pintail's soft launch was to get a feel for how things would run from a logistical standpoint, and to sell to family and friends who wanted to support my paddle apparel business from the beginning.
Originally, I was planning for a new clothing collection to drop in June. However, after graduating fresh out of college, I realized that I needed a bit of a break before hurtling into this non-stop endeavor.
Instead of working on Pintail, I've been doing what I generously call "market research."
In reality, market research has meant going paddle boarding with family and enjoying the sun.
In my defense, when you live in Oregon you have to take advantage of the good weather. I haven't invested in a farmer jane wetsuit yet, so my first time out on the water this season was an 80 degree day in April. A week later it snowed.
I’m pumped to get some fun adventures in on my board this summer at some beautiful lakes, and I'm looking forward to getting a nice tan line from my leash.
See you on the water!
